I purchased this with the back mounting plate for the front of my car. It’s apparently illegal to have plastic over your license plate in California, but so far, so good.

It is a ‘bubble’ or ‘dome’ shaped plastic piece. The black frame wrap is plastic, but seems pretty sturdy. I will probably buy again when some idiot comes along and cracks the current one trying (and failing) to park parallel.

Cheap and Perfect

I have this installed on my 2005 Silverado and it looks really good. The Plastic cover is perfect for protecting my brand new plates and stickers. This product is exactly what I wanted and expected.

This is made from very cheap plastic. It does not look good on the vehicle and does not seem like it will last very long. This got tossed.
