Prestone manufactures an excellent de-icer fluid that sprays out of the can and melts away ice almost instantly. Just as other reviewers note, you won’t have to struggle chipping away a coat of ice from your windshield when you use Prestone.

I couldn’t believe how well this product worked. You just spray it on and you don’t even have to use a scraper. Just run the windshield wipers after a few seconds and you’re good to go. An excellent product for anyone who doesn’t like to freeze their hands while trying to clear off their windshield, or who just doesn’t have time to let the ice melt off traditionally. For the price, this product is a no brainer! It is worth every penny and then some.

I get about 2 cans a year (southern Ohio) and it works great. The best part is how well it works at getting the ice out of the Wiper Blades. One blast from this and all the ice just melts away.
