Msd Ignition 82923 Modified Distributor
MSD Ignition Modified Cap and Rotor Kit helps fire up a vehicle’s ignition and performance. It has an external secondary tower which accepts high voltage from a powerful external coil that bypasses the weak factory coil buried inside the distributor. Each kit comes with a new rotor to make sure high voltage is passed around to each of the brass terminals of the cap. This kit is CARB emission and EPA compliant, and is backed by a fixed 1 year warranty.

 Defect in MSD cap

I’ve had this on my car for a while now and it works great! There’s only one potential problem. MSD places a plug on the inside of the cap, on the point where the input from the blaster coil comes in. This plug came unglued in my distributor cap and dropped down into the distributor, where it was flung into the tach sensor–destroying it.
MSD was kind enough to send me a replacement cap/rotor, but I was out of luck on the distributor, and had to buy another one.

 OEM Igntion Coil problem solver

I have had quite a few issues with the OEM Igntion Coil. My friend told me to just get an MSD External Coil, Distributor cap and button. After I installed these, my car runs great and much smoother too. I would like to say that I have more horse power but I cant prove it till I have the car dyno-ed.
Fantastic product!!! Highly recommended.
