Bright, works, but shallow for an 1157

Its very bright, it works quite well, but it is about 1 inch shorter than a standard 1157, and due to that reason I had to completely remove my tail lamp assembly and install these from the lense side instead of the normal way of quickly removing the housing and installing the bulb. A lot more work than I would expect from any other 1157 bulb. But once I got through all that extra work, these work bright and perfectly.

Nice and bright

These bulbs are nice and bright. They have a decent brightness difference between running and stop light functions. I bought them through Justpal and they arrived in 5 days.

Nice lights if you use them for conserving energy/current. They would work well for backup lights on a garden tractor or special projects. They do NOT work well as tail/brake in a vehicle/trailer that uses a red lense because not much light makes it through the lense. They seem to be very well made and are exciting until you try them in a vehicle/trailer.
