Where can i further my automotive IQ?

I’m fairly dumb (Ok, totally oblivious) to anything dealing with cars. Unless it has to do with pumping gas, adding air or wiper fluid, or checking the oil(which i’m still a bit sketchy on) i have no idea about anything under that heap of steel. Is there any site that’ll give me a basic rundown of anything i need to know as a driver and someone who doesnt wanna have to bend over and drop my pants at the repair shop? I’m not looking for exact specifics on everything, jsut something that’ll give me a basic understanding.

Kinda like how most men know just enough about women to get by. :)

If for some reason its important i drive a 98 Mercury Grand Marq. IDK why it’d be important but for sh!ts and giggles i’ll put that.

(automotive) Is it possible to connect an amp to a stereo if there are no rc wires?

…or do i need to buy a new stereo? The one I purchased is new, but for some reason theres no *rc wires*( is what the man said)
