 not perfect, but close enough

It’s not perfect. It takes a little longer than pulling the drain plug, but reduces the likelihood of creating a mess by a considerable amount. It’s as close to the perfect home oil change as I’ve experienced in 50+ years of working on cars. Easy to set up and clean. A big ziplock is handy for the hose, and a small one to avoid losing the gaskets, etc. Of course, you still have the filter to deal with.

I’ve owned this product for a little over a year. It started out great, very easy to use. Get two ziplock bags, one large and one small for the hoses.
I’ve used mine about 4 times. There is a little plastic shut off valve that keeps the hose closed to keep the suction in when punping – That has since broken (they give you one) On my fouth try? I have no suction regardless of if I had the clamp. 50.00 for 4 oil changes is not a deal by any stretch of the imagination. Be aware that you are still going to make a bit of a mess if you do a full oil change. You still need to pull off the filter in your car, and there is no place on the top sider to allow you to dump the oil from the filter.

Makes life easy

Worked great on my Mini Cooper, don’t need to ever jack up the car for an oil change again hopefully it works as well on my Jetta
